About

My name is Dan Nickerson, and I’ve been building successful web businesses since 1994.

I’m probably most well-known for having created the LinkOpp Banner Program.

Developed in late 1997 LinkOpp was arguably the first text link exchange on the Internet.

This unique text link service had over 35,000 active members at its peak and LinkOpp become an IBM Strategic Partner in 1998. Unfortunately the dot-com bust in 2000 took a major toll, and the site is just a shell awaiting my next great Link idea…

Other innovative programs I created were the ExitXpress and TrafficSweeps programs in 2001.. Both designed to generate residual passive traffic..

Prior to coming online, I had many years of experience in Product Development & Marketing, as well as the Hospitality & Fitness Industries.

I grew up on the Coast of Maine and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1985.

In March of 2007 I moved from New Hampshire to Colorado to work with Joel Comm on many exciting products. I’m currently Vice President of Ideas for Joel Comm’s company Infomedia Inc.

    Hi Dan,

I went to a Global 1 Training seminar in Australia a couple of years ago and purchased Joels Elevate DVDs. I’ve just pulled them out of the cupboard and watched them, they are mind blowing, thankyou. I have recently been given an amazing opportunity to sell product online hence the DVDs came out of the cupboard! As it was recorded in 2008 and I realise technology is faster than time I was hoping you could guide me as to what products would be an update of Elevate. Also do you do any consults?
Thanks in advance for your reply,
    Natalya

    Natalya,

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed them. We don’t have any updated training. Elevate was what we consider “evergreen” content for building a business online. As far as consulting, we have a business survey at: http://infomediainc.com/business-survey/ If you take this our sales manager will give you a call to discuss.
