Two Day Old Startup Receives One Million in VC Funding

rss aggregatorFeedPit.com, a new RSS Aggregator for Internet Marketing related Feeds has received a substantial funding offer after only one day of operation.

Although the service just launched and hasn’t taken in a dime of revenue, it’s projected that the site will be extremely popular by Fall 2008.

As a FeedPit member your RSS feed is placed in a rotator which displays random member’s feeds on every main page view.

There’s also a search engine which indexes all the feeds in the database and enables a search of the Feed Summaries.

Other features being implemented are an affiliate program and a Top Referrer program. Those who refer the most visitors will get their Feed Page links displayed on the main page and drive even more traffic to their sites. FeedPit only accepts sites that are in the Internet Marketing industry or help to support it.

FeedPit CEO Dan Nickerson was shocked at the offer which came from an anonymous Indonesian Financier. Who oddly enough, only wanted a lifetime membership to the program.

Mr Nickerson is not sure what he’s going to do with the 1,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah ($106 US) when it comes in later this month. He’s either going to spend it on a small Adwords campaign, or perhaps have a couple of banners designed.

    Dan,

Suggested would be a careful investment plan for the growth of the project. Spending it all at once or all in the same place would be a waste.

    Nice Bait!
