ACME Traffic
I recently started a business with my friend and fellow IM Veteran Mark Widawer. The Business is ACME Traffic.
We have tens of thousands of customers and they all share one thing in common.
They all want more traffic to their websites.
So Mark and I created a monthly program where we release plugins, tools and themes that are designed to help our customers get traffic passively. The techniques are all white hat and work to generate quality links, and visitors to our customer’s sites. While we primarily focus on WordPress, you can still benefit if you have a non wordpress site.
We also conduct live webinars each month to answer all our customer’s questions.
We launched in July 2011 and our first product was the RelatedRSSPlugin, which puts a unique, targeted and relevant RSS news feed in the sidebar of every page and post of your WordPress site. And in August 2011 we released our ACMETheme.com. A 2010 child theme designed with marketers in mind.

Pagellan – Create Your Own Personal Knowledge Base
I’ve relaunched Pagellan.com as a new social network based on knowledge. It allows users to create their own personal knowledge bases.
I came up with the idea by focusing on what I disliked about the big social networks…
- Most of the content is trivial
- There’s a ton of spam on most networks
- Posts are not easily searched, tagged, or archived
- There’s no affiliate program
So I began working on a program that addressed those issues.
It’s based on four very simple concepts.
“Imagine if you could create your own personal knowledgebase that worked like Twitter and Facebook, but allowed you to categorize, tag and archive the things that you know and learn.”
“Imagine if you could make that knowledge private or share it with the world, forever archived and tagged for easy access.”
“Imagine a social network without self promotion, spam, useless banter… but solid, valuable, actionable content.”
Finally…

After a couple months in development. Pagellan is now officially live and 100’s of users are already using it.
There’s also an affiliate program that pays 50% monthly recurring commissions on advertising sales.
My 22 Day Internet Marketing Bootcamp
This week I launched a new internet marketing course.
I had done some camtasia video critiques for a few people over the last month, and they really seemed to enjoy the feedback.
